A nice hike through the Taurus mountain range.
Have you got a pair of sturdy walking shoes? Are you reasonably fit? Would you enjoy a nice day trip? Then you must certainly join us on this Alanya Taurus Mountain Hiking Tour. Most people enjoy the sun,the swimming pool or the beach when they are on holiday. But wouldn’t it be nice to see a different side of Alanya Turkey? The Taurus mountain range is very impressive. In the morning we will leave for the mountains and once we are there we can start our mountain walk. Around midday we will take care of a tasty lunch. There will be sufficient time for rest but it will stil be a firm hike. We will return to the hotel late in the afternoon.
We start in de middle of the woods and walk the first part. We looking at the big mountains and big valleys (very beautiful) . The path is going small down and up). The first part is / 5 kilometer ( 1 hour normal walk) and than is there a small stop.
After the first stop. The second way is in the beginning up and after that part it’s running progressively something up. On this part there are walking regular shepherds and walk now between 2 mountain ridges. This part is a lot of sun .This way is about / 5 kilometer ( 1 hour normal walk).
After this part we make a stop for lunch. We have picnics in the open air. Sandwiches.After the lunch we going to walk the last part. This part is different some woods ,some rocks. We start walking very high (very beautiful views ) and the path it’s only going down .(total 10 kilometers). We walk into woods and open parts, after 1 hour walking (5 kilometer) we have a small stop,we can drink and sit a while.
After this stop we are walking further down. And we see very different views. We pass woods and very big rocks. We walk the last last part (5 kilometer), about 1 hour normal walking.
At the end of the route ( at 400 meter) we have Turkish tea and we can just relax before we leave to the hotel / 15:30 – 16:00 hour.
Total / 20 kilometer and 4 hour of walking (every 1 hour a (small) stop.

IMPORTANT:
On the route is always a car in the area for any emergencies.
In the mountains it is much cooler than the center of Alanya (save sometimes 6-10 degrees).
The trip is not difficult but people must have some condition.
Take with the trip: Good shoes (sneakers or solid shoes), cap, tanning, oil, some water.
